Octavius Pharma has developed DC granules of Sitagliptin for making Sitagliptin plain tablets. Product has been developed to produce uniform particles that help give a better flow-ability in a way that facilitates tablet compression, maintaining content uniformity. Finished tablet qualitative composition and dissolution profile is in line with the Innovator, as per USP monograph.

Sitagliptin: Sitagliptin is used to control blood sugar levels in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus. It is an antidiabetic medication. It works by increasing the release of insulin from the pancreas and decreasing the hormones that raise blood sugar levels. This reduces the fasting and post meal sugar levels.
