Octavius Pharma has developed DC granules of Glimepiride for making Glimepiride plain tablets. Product has been developed to produce uniform particles that help give a better flow-ability in a way that facilitates tablet compression, maintaining content uniformity. Finished tablet qualitative composition and dissolution profile is in line with the Innovator “AMARYL” as per USP monograph.

Glimepiride: Glimepiride is an antidiabetic medication used in the treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus. It works by increasing the amount of insulin released by the pancreas in order to lower blood glucose.
